We met in early 2020 working at Best Buy — Katherine stocking shelves and Matthew helping customers — and what started as quick check-ins between shifts grew into something neither of us expected. When the pandemic began and the store closed, those brief conversations turned into long texts, late-night video calls, and plenty of shared playlists. Quarantine became our unexpected season of getting to know each other: cooking experiments, neighborhood walks, and virtual movie nights that stretched into mornings. A year later we were still laughing together, learning how to support one another through uncertainty, and imagining a future beyond those early, chaotic months. Matthew proposed during a quiet weekend at home, and since then we’ve been planning a wedding that reflects the simple, warm life we started building in those first days of the pandemic. We can’t wait to celebrate with our family and friends in Springdale, AR on November 7, 2026.
